Sounds great in Garageband, but lousy...

Choppy, scratchy. Sounds like scratchy records from back in the day. Also sounds lousy in Amadeus.

How do I keep the "crispness" of Garageband?

have you been careful to not let any tracks/the master track clip?

There is no clipping on any of the 15 tracks, nor on the master. And when I move it to Amadeus, also no clipping. But there sure is clipping on iTunes.

for the clipping in iTunes, make sure that all of its "enhancements" are turned off (in particular, the EQ)

Enhancements are off. I have decided that it is only on the vocal tracks. Hmmm. It is clipping but where and how because it isn't showing........

is that the mix?

it might be useful to try soloing the vox track(s), exporting and looking/listening to just that outside GB
