Post by Guest » Sun Jan 08, 2012 11:09 am

I have created nice to do and work lists with checkable boxes in AppleWorks.    But since Apple abandoning appleworks trying to do on pages but find no font or style to do that.   Is there a way?

You may use Numbers as a huge sheet on which you insert what you want where you want as you did in the Draw component of AppleWorks.Doing that you will be able to use living checkboxes. Yvan KOENIG (VALLAURIS, France) jeudi 18 août 2011 17:56:03iMac 21”5, i7, 2.8 GHz, 4 Gbytes, 1 Tbytes, mac OS X 10.6.8 and 10.7.0My iDisk is : <http://public.me.com/koenigyvan>Please : Search for questions similar to your own before submitting them to the community To be the AW6 successor, iWork MUST integrate a TRUE DB, not a list organizer !

Thanks for the International help.   I found the checklist template in Numbers and I will try to work with that.  It does have checkable boxes.   But so far found no way to capture that bullet font to use in Pages.

Thanks for the International help! Perhaps can work with that since most of time I print and check off with pencil anyway.

I never asked you to grab the checkbox from Numbers to Pages.I wrote : You may use Numbers as a huge sheet on which you insert what you want where you want as you did in the Draw component of AppleWorks.Doing that you will be able to use living checkboxes. Reading carefully you would understand that you may create your document in Numbers, not in Pages.Numbers may be used as a replacement for AppleWorks 6 Draw component. If you don't understand that, I can't help you more.Yvan KOENIG (VALLAURIS, France) jeudi 18 août 2011 22:54:54iMac 21”5, i7, 2.8 GHz, 4 Gbytes, 1 Tbytes, mac OS X 10.6.8 and 10.7.0My iDisk is : <http://public.me.com/koenigyvan>Please : Search for questions similar to your own before submitting them to the community To be the AW6 successor, iWork MUST integrate a TRUE DB, not a list organizer !

Understand ok Koenig.    Can use Numbers ok but just would prefer in Pages for formatting what I want.   Actually I still find Apple Works is easier for me for a lot of data base issues and I am trying to update thanks for your prompt and helpful replies.   John
