Airport Express Sound Audio Delay

I have the model A1084 Airport Express base station and a 4th Gen. iPod touch. I am trying to watch movies on my iPod with sound streaming from the speaker attached to my Airport Express. It works immediately after I reset the router, but after a day or two, the sound goes back to being delayed. I want the Airport Express to work on my speaker without always having to reset it before I watch or use the Airport Express speaker. I'd like a solution to this problem if anyone has any ideas, it'll be extremely helpful!
