Security and Backup to a website

I just purchased a new Macbook Pro i5 for college and I'm wondering two things.  1. What is the best website to back my files up to? I don't have an external hard drive and would rather not purchase one. 2. Should I have any type of anti virus or security program installed?  Thanks!
