Snow Leopard and the Cloud

Hello, I have Lion installed on my iMac but unfortunately my Macbook is just a little too old. Still with the last system (Snow Leopard?). Question is, will I be able to take advantage of most of the features of the Cloud when it comes in September? For example, if I import photos into iPhoto on my Macbook, will they go to the Cloud and allow me to import to my iPad 2, iMac (Lion) and so on? And Address book? And Calendar? Regards,Tom
