It is in the Zapf Dingbats font, but may also be found in the Unicode set via: Menu > Edit >Special Characters… Peter

I cannot find the keystroke for it. I've tried every key with option or shift

Interesting. Now when you select Zapf Dingbats it throws you into Unicode anyway. Menu > Edit >Special Characters… > View: Code Tables > 00002700 Dingbats > 2701 through to 2704 are scissors Peter

Tom Why then does it show Zapf Dingbats as a font in the fonts list? That seems muddled thinking. Peter

None of the scissor icons in special charactors are as nice as they used to be. There used to be many more choices

Try shift 3 in the Windings font. Also Monotype Sorts has 4 scissors There are lots of differnt pictographic fonts available, only you know what exactly will suit you. Peter

Tom There are lots of pictographs in many fonts not available in Unicode, to make Zapf Dingbats an exception and then proffer it up as a font choice as well, seems muddled to me. Anything that does not do the expected is by my definition muddled. Peter
